..... and then there is CRICKET! Played in every country that was once coloured pink on the map (when the English owned the earth.) A match can last one day, if it is a one-day match. Or three days, if it is a first-class match. Or five days, if it is a Test match. In all cases, play stops for morning and afternoon tea breaks and of course for lunch. These are the rules (sorry, they are called the Laws of Cricket):
You have two sides, one in the field, and one in.
Each man that's on the side that's in, goes out and when he's out, he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.
When they are all out, the side that was out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.
Some of those who are in are given not out and one is not out when the side that was out comes in.
When both sides have been in and out, including the not outs, that's the end of the game.

Only us Brits could invent a game that can last for 5 days and still end up in a draw(tie)!
