Throwing The Haggis

It may not seem crazy to non British born people - but it certainly does to me: In some Highland Games "throwing the haggis" is a common discipline. (Haggis: an animal's innards stuffed into its stomach bag. Develloped by poor Scots who had to send the eatable parts of their sheep to England and therefore fed on what was left.) It is obvious why Highlanders feel the urge to throw that stuff as far as possible. www.scotland.net/kitchen/haggis.htm has delicious recipes.

Well, I will be checking out the haggis recipeis, as I seem to have aquired a taste for the stuff. PS does anyone know how to get gluten free haggis, as a freind of mine loves haggis, but has lost the ability to tolerate gluten, or other wheaty things.
