A Conversation for Interstate 75, USA
Truck Stops

I don't know if truck stops are peculiar only in the U.S.A. or not but anyone traveling through the states should take the time to see the various kinds. They range from sleek Wal-Mart looking stores in the middle of nowhere with all types of ammenities like internet connections, espresso bars, barbershops, and periphials for your Palm Pilot; all the way down to the mom & pop station with live bait out front, interesting graffiti to read on the doorless latrine, and jars of pickled pigs feet near the register.
They are all worth the time to take a look. And they are more fun than the pay at the pump gas stations located in town.
