To qoute a famous man
"to be scared is to be sane"
*looks around for awhile*
Okay I made that up, but it sounds obscure enough to be real.

True. Does sound like one of those so-ridiculous-it-could-be-true things.

I got a fortune cokkie once that said
"You maybe happy."
Freakishly later that day I had an unexpected bout of happyness, so now I live my life by the not-very-accurate-predictions of Confuncius.

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! Must've been bad magic. Safer not having it in that case.

Oh don't worry, I pegged it on my lawn with a well aimed rock... sadly my dog, mistaking it for a side of ham, ripped it too pieces.

No I am not... I broke a Mgic Eight Ball... the Magic got out... i then preceeded to hit it with a Rock... my dog ate it... at which point the afore mentioned magic went,
"Eeek"
Its all a perfectly true story
*Realises sarcasm dosent't come across well in typing*
*Realises that he typed that he realised*
*Realises that he did it again*
*Realises thaaa...... shakes himself out of a neverending loop*
Woaaaa that was close, could have been typing the rest of my life.

Really? Amazing the way they're still there. Little bits of real history in those wee holes.

My great grandfather was Richard O Carroll, member of Citizens Army, captured at Jacobs factory and executed in Portabello Barracks in 1916. Anyone got any more info on him?

I see references to somebody who might be him in this document:
http://www.funeralbooking.com/files/writers_tour.pdf
and I see his name on a list of those executed during the 1916 rising, but I don't know anything further about him. I might ask my daughter, who studied the Rising in great detail in school.
