Godless Infidel

Are you sure this is where the name Arizona came from? I had always heard that it came from "arid zone," or "dry area." I could very easily be wrong. One other thing to mention is I-17, the perpetually under construction freeway - this is the finest example of job security in the known universe, at least for ADOT (that's the Arizona Department of Transportation, for those non-Phoenicians out there.)

Heh, heh, or the 101 loop. It's supposed to open this year, but I can't think that ADOT would be so heartless as to deprive us of the challenge of getting around the West Valley on partially blockaded surface streets.

Off for vacation - see everyone in two weeks! -dwkp
