I just came across this picture, I thought you might find interesting...
http://www.urinal.net/south_pole/
It's a picture of The mens urinals of the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station.
Don't ask how I came across it, it's a long story...

It's a hard job, but someone has to do it! And anyway, this is valuable information about the south pole. Kind of....
There was a picture of a urinal for women on the same page, now I don't know about Mrs X, but I'd have thought she'd have the same view as me on this one; no, no no and no. No.

I'd same the same thing...
The prospect of frostbite on that particular part of the male anatomy is something that I don't even want to consider!

Oh come on!!!!
You can't just leave it like that... We really need to know what you were doing hanging around virtual urinals anyway Peta...
After all, we do pay our licence fee to the BBC for this kind of thing!
**pause**

Ok, so we don't pay a licence fee to the BBC, but I'm still curious

Okay. I was trying to find a definition for the word *piss*. I wanted a page that showed all of the ways in which the word was used - for swearword moderation reasons. So I put piss into Google and came up with that website!
You see, it was work related! You didn't believe me did you?

I'm pretty shocked that it took you almost a week to come up with an excuse that lame.
But since there was a 4-day holiday involved, I guess it didn't take *that* long...

Not only a lame excuse, not only late in coming, but....

I'm a bit of a Johnny-come-lately to this thread, I'm afraid.
My observation on this installation is to deplore the lack of pipe-lagging in what can only be regarded as an environment with a high risk of freezing and pipe bursts.
Still, I suppose there isn't much melting, unless the Scott-Amundsen Station is so extravagant in its use of heating that the problem never arises.
You just can't find a reliable plumber when you need one, can you ?
