I agree. I think that's why the 'humour' was ramped up- clearly they confused 'comedy' with 'shxte ham acting'.

But it wasnt about the acting, it was about a funny show that still had compeling an clever plots. Much more clever than the origional, which if you were to watch now, would find predictable, and quite frankly base. Not that it wasnt good. But bob and vic have made a career out of comedy, they are not actors.

True, Vic and Bob can't act, but there is something about their stilted performances that I find quite charming. Catterick is the same way. Crap acting, but fantstic at the same time!

If Vic and Bob have made a career out of comdey rather than acting, then they should stick to stand up and 'quiz' shows, and leave sit com and drama to proper actors.

I think their acting is crap but also fantastic at the same time. I know others may not agree, but that's the way I feel.

I totally agree, they are brilliant, despite them not being of a bafta or oscar standard, but as i said, the new randall and hopkirk wasnt about the acting

I think that the new R&H was about R&M (Reeves and Mortimer). They should stick to surrealistic versions of jaded comedy formats (quiz shows, variety shows, sketch shows). They're quite good at that.

Indeed. Mind you, Ken Cope wasn't exactly the best actor in the world, but at least he *was* an actor.
