Yes WHERE HAS ALL SAINTS GONE?
The BBC get it right and put on the best "soap" and then it goes.
Let's unite and get it BACK! Mrs Twangy

I am so upset that all saints has been taken of our tv screens, you find a fantastic, descent, flaming good programme and what happens, they take it from us.
I'm disabled and I really enjoy watching that infact it was the only decent day time programe on,so when is it comeing back, and yes they never advertised that it was the last one..

Why does the bbc take off a programme with some form of interesting format, to replace it with the tired and out dated Murder She Wrote.
Talk about flogging a dead donkey. It is completly ridiculous. i agree with all of the above comments. I tuned in to watch something with a bit of drama instead i get to watch angela lansbury solving yet another predictable case. yawn.

Bring back all saints. I am so dissappointed it has ended and Murder she wrote has replaced it. It is about time they realised that when she turns up someone dies .It is a wonder she has any friends left.
All saints is so different and enjoyable.I had to make sure I set the video recorder when I had to go out. I set it in advance so guess my reaction when I recorded Jessica Fletcher last friday...........

Apparantly the series will come back in the new year. I never knew that it had been showing on channel 5 since 2005, that makes sense when it says "previosly on All Saints" and I never recognised the scenes. It has been classed a hit by the BBC so they are recording the next series at the moment.

so we have to wait til the new year for all saints - i am missing it already - i spose it is on dvd so depending on what series the bbc left it at???

glynnit Posted Sep 20, 2007
The BBC finished totally up to date, so there isn't any more to show until the new series is ready. I think they could maybe show the old stuff that we never caught on channel 5, that would keep us going until next year.

In Australia, the tenth season is well under way. The BBC could have shown the show on a continuous run for a good while instead of breaking it up with repeats of some daft old woman solving crimes (!) The show is out on DVD up to season 5 which is the one just screened on BBC1. Box sets are for sale on Ebay but only if your DVD can play Region 4 discs (and if you have a good few quid to spare cos they ain't cheap.) I'm kinda surprised the BBC have bought it as an afternoon show because it's obviously causing them a few headaches in the editing department as they chop out the gore and smut for the time of day. There's a good episode guide available at: http://www.australiantelevision.net/as/allsaints.html
which also fills in the blanks for the couple of hundred episodes the BBC didn't bother to buy!
Hope this helps...

I wonder why bbc started by showing series 5?? what happened to the other 4 series?? Lol it was much better than holby city - they actually explain things to patients properly!!

Who knows why they decided to start the show about 200 episodes in?! There's kinda a lot of catching up to do and those little "previously on All Saints" don't really suffice. The episode guide is worth taking a look at. As for the show itself, some episodes have been well written and acted and then right out of left field one will come along which seems to contain a bunch of badly directed amateur actors just having a bit of a laff. The Biker episode springs to mind, it was terrible...
The central cast are all decent. I remember Georgie Parker in A Country Practice way back when and Tammy Mackintosh was in Farscape and totally unrecognisable under a whole lot of orange make-up!

Yeah lol know what u mean about some of the acting. I like some of the basic medicin stuff in it, lol as a medical student I find it interesting to watch the whole dr-patient interactions (how sad i know!)
Tho am unsure of the fact dr forlano seems to be some sort of super surgeon - GI surgery, plastic surgery, the list seems to be endless!!! he's nearly as good as karl kennedy!! and ward 17 has such an array of patients!!

Yes, I too would like to know what has happened to All Saints, not least because my brother directs the more exspansive episodes such as the train crash that started the UK edition. This was in fact shot as one single two hour programe some years ago to relaunch the series in OZ. I shall be with my brother on location in Sydney in a feww days time watching him direct a mega car accident for the series which is now around the 400th episode! I think he would proberbly like to know what happene too.

I'm a paramedic so spend a lot of time giggling at the telly (wish we got as many interesting traumas as the Aussie 'ambos' ) All Saints is nowhere near as bad as something like Holby or Casualty which I just can't watch - unless they're on the TV on station in which case we tend to watch them as a comedy.
Ward 17 is very like the Medical Assessment Units most hospitals have where they tend to admit patients from A&E until they know which speciality to direct them to. Patients don't tend to stick around for too long, they get all the O/Ds, alcoholics, UTIs, chest infections, off legses, yadda yadda yadda. Basically anything that's not surgical or trauma so a bit of dramatic license may well have been taken with All Saints cos they get the lot including HDU patients!
One thing they have absolutely right is the amount of inter-departmental shagging, they just need to throw a few police officers into the mix and it'd be spot on
Caroline.
