A Conversation for Songs that Stick in your Head

ummm, the theory falls apart...

i don't think the theory that repititious listening to a song makes it stick in your head... i.e... i have had the most evil of songs, that "loving you is easy 'cause you're beautiful" song stuck in my head for about three months (thanks to south park and burger king)... i've never heard the song the entire way through (i'd commit suicide if i did) and i've heard it maybe ten times in my life... but... la la la la... la la la la... la la la la... la la... la la... la la... dood en dood ennnnennnnnnn doooooooodd... aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh... (aaaaaaaagh)... anyway... i've found the best way to get rid of a song stuck your head is to passs it on to coworkers... i've been singing this song out loud at work, quite often, until EVERYONE has it stuck in their head... it didn't get it out of my head (unortunately), but everyone is going around singing it softly to themselves... they hate me for it, but i'm not the only one suffering for the sins of the seventies... he he he... i am evil...

My personal experience is that those songs tend to stick to one's mind which one personally dislikes (which, of course, makes the whole thing a lot more annoying).
