I have a very elderly friend who used to be a dancer in her youth. In the 1930s when she graduated from her dance school as top of the class Fred Astair awarded the prize. As she came on stage to get it he said to her, "I think we should dance, don't you?" and proceeded to dance on stage with her.
She has never forgotten it.
