... just to dispute one point in the entry.
Actually there are a reasonable scattering of females in the Wars - admittedly it is mainly young male dominated, but not exclusively.
It also seems to appeal across both sexes (and all ages). Look at the audience. And also look at my family with its two RW obessed primary age school children - a girl aged 9, and a boy aged 4.
The battles that go one when the new issue of Robot Wars Magazine hits the doormat rivals ANYTHING in the show...

At last, Robot Wars, the Wars 5!
So, who do you think will win? Will it be Razer's year at last? Or Hypnodisc? Chaos 2, though, is through to the semi-finals already!
I personally want the underappreciated Comeangetorix to win, but we'll see...
