First, I would like to be excused for my english. It's not my native language.
Second, my post here it's about a minor misuse of terms. At the beggining of your article you state :"....T'ang dinasty.....ko-an....".
I think the proper term here would be the chinese noun instead of the japanese one, since the phrase beggins with an alussion of T'ang.... and the term is "kung'an".
I thing words are still important in these times more that they were in the old ages.
