A Conversation for Nirvana - the Band

It didn't stop /there/, either. In September 2001, on the anniversary of the release of Nevermind, the Nirvana box set, full of more B-sides, yet more rarities, and most importantly, more live recordings. It is rumoured that the full recording of Nirvana at the Reading Festival will be released in this set, along with some unfinished songs. You can probably also expect TONS of other live performances, and also some cuts of Nirvana's unfinished business - a song they were recording in 1994.
Also to arrive this year or next (in the States at least) is the Nirvana movie, Afterworld (it was originally going to be called "A Leonard Cohen Afterworld because of the song lyric in "Pennyroyal Tea"). Its going to be about two guys who travel from California to Seattle in 1994 to go to Kurt's memorial service. The plot may semm thin sounding, but nonetheless, every "hardcore" Nirvana fan will be dying to see it. My advice: save your money for the aforementioned boxed set.

No, doing a detailed (and very good might I add) entry on Nirvana.

I actually had forgotten about that. But since I'm going to be normal, I'm not going to do that.

If you're going to mention Pat Smear then why not also include Dale Crover (also of the Melvins) and Chad Channing, two of the pre-Grohl drummers who actually played on 'Bleach' (Dave not being a member of Nirvana at that time). And how about second guitarist Jason Everman (Soundgarden, Mind Funk) who also played on that album and Paul Huge who was the original touring guitarist before Smear?
And while we're at it, why no mention for Butch Vig and Steve Albini, the producers who respectively created and destroyed Nirvana's grunge sound?
I could go on... Detailed account my eye! The words 'tip', 'of', 'the' and 'iceberg' come readily to mind!

Like many others, I was at Nirvana's Reading Festival gig. I've been lucky enough to have seen quite a few special gigs, but this particular one really shook my boots. It was awesome.

I just finished reading 'Come As You Are' and I would have mentioned those people if I would have written this now, Puggers.
