And according to the maps, Howarden has an airport!
Well there certainly is the aircraft factory nearby as I remember well from travelling into N Wales by train going to and from university and thinking that either I was finally into Wales or just outside Chester depending on the direction of travel

Yes Hawarden does have an Airport. However it is for private use only rather than a commercial one like Heathrow. The only large plane that flies in and out with any regularity is the new Airbus "Beluga" that transports the wings from the BAe systems factory on the site.
