A Conversation for Handy Mandarin Chinese Phrases
Tones and Pronunciation

Hi there
This is helpful - thank-you for taking the time to write this!
I have two suggestions.
Firstly, it might be much more helpful if each of the syllables could be written with its associated tone directly next to it, instead of the syllables being grouped together with the tones being grouped together separately.
For example, I find that trying to read "wo2 hen3 xing4 fen4" to be much easier that reading "wo hen xing fen 2344". (I am energetic )
Secondly, there are a few consonants not described in the pronunciation guide, such as "r".
All the best

Just wondering how a Yorkshire accent is going to help/hinder using the tones? ( Assuming I do get to China to teach TEFL). ( Yes, I know that's tautology, but I don't fancy teaching EFL).
