Found this on the Front Page.
Thanks for an excellent article. I knew a little about the Big Issue, and I am accosted weekly in our local shopping centre. I do occasionally buy it too. I knew nothing of the founder though, nor his connection with Gordon Roddick.
I shall definitely be checking the Front Page more often, if it is going to highlight good offerings like this, as I don't get much time for surfing around hoo too!

I've done a little research and discovered there are a few other people who have also made a difference in life. So far I have covered Anita Roddick, Richard Curtis and currently in Peer Review is one on the Wallace and Gromit founder who has helped raise money to help children through setting up wrong trousers day. There are also other fantastic entries on people who set up other charities by other researchers on this site. I may write about one or two more, who knows, watch this space.
