The h2g2 Poem

1 Conversation

Marionettes

Missing out on something
I'm pushing for a point
Lacing my throat
With a silver thread
Spun from those clouds

Cut my strings, I'll push away

It's taken one long year
To forget all I learnt
In this sickened honey jar,
City of lights,
City of sweets.

Cut my strings, I'll fall away

Pushing out my rust
Crying away my oils
Leave my buttons be
Leave my buttons please
But

Cut my strings, I'll push away.
