I'm one of the only people in the world who HASN'T seen a single Bea. & Butt. cartoon. What are they about? Who are the characters? What kind of jokes are used? Why is this article so inadequate? Explain!

Beavis and Butthead are (or were) two desperate horny american school boys out, basically, to get their leg over. The jokes were mostly toilet or sex related and they spent a lot of time taking the mickey out of music videos on MTV and laughing inanely. They were rubbish at school and never got girlfriends and didn't do anything apart from watch TV and eat junk food. That's about it really. They thought their whole life was a music video and never related to reality. I hope that cleared things up a bit for you. If you've got any more specific questions just ask

The funniest thing they ever did was when Beavis had too much sugar and caffeine, and went mental. He pulled the back of his collar up to the top of his head, held put his arms like a saguaro cactus, and declared in a Spanish accent, "I am Cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole!" He spent the rest of the episode walking around talking in a monologue about his bunghole, and any time someone stopped to talk to him, he responded with "Are you threatening me?" Eventually he started presenting that question to inanimate objects. It was so far and away the most rediculously hilarious thing they did that it spawned a repeat episode (which wasn't funny) and occurred twice in the movie (which was funny again, since the first time he does it on caffeine pills, he nearly destroys the plane... second time, he freaks out in front of the White House, surrounded by security, and all sorts of other things are going on).

Another great episode was when Beavis thought he was pregnant. He'd eaten too many nachos, so he was bloated, and his stomach ached. He watched a tv show at the same time, and some things seemed too similar to his own condition. Then they go to the store, and he overhears two pregnant women talking, and it makes his fears grow. Best moment:

Woman: Honestly, I don't know why you went out and got yourself pregnant.
Beavis: You can get *yourself* pregnant?! ARRRGGHH!!

Anyway, Beavis and Butthead are two 13 yr old white-trash heavy metal kids whose parents are never around. Their jokes are typical 13 yr old fare, involving bodily functions, for the most part. I'd always thought the show was rather hit-and-miss... when it was funny, it was hilarious, but it could get real old, too.
