1 cups ground suet
2 cups regular flour
2 cups packed brown sugar
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 cups seeded raisins
1 1/2 cups walnut pieces
Mix well, place in clean linen towel (tea towel or dish towel), pack tight, tie with string. Place in kettle with either saucer in the bottom or a rack and cover with hot water. Boil for 3 hours, keeping pudding covered with water. Serve warm, without sauce. Very good cold. This receipe has been in our family for over 100 years.
