Just a question, why is it called a *long* amplitude wave when surely the deciding factor in distruction is the height in the shallows?

Good entry! Fascinating stuff.

Hi cl,

You found a typo! I should have said that it was a long *wavelength* wave (which sounds a bit of a handful). I will get it changed just to "a wave".

Thanks!
