We always put money paid from Chance and Community Chest fines in the middle and the player who lands on Free Parking gets this money ... is this a well used rule?

yeah, most people i know follow that one.
what about £400 (or the equivalent) for landing on GO?

We play the 'no parking' rule, but I've never heard of the £400 for landing on 'Go' could be interesting *files that one away for later perusal*

we sometimes put any money that is payed to bank into the middle and collecting at free parking
