hate to be anal and all that but the method was not pioneered by old Konstantin...he just provided the groundwork for it with his "system" which very unhelpfully isn' really a system but a series of observations on what makes great acting. He founded "naturalism" which although is what the "method" also aims for the approaches stanislavski had were less intense.
He was also 6ft 7.

Wow. I've been acting for twelve years and never knew that. Who'da thunk it? Pray tell, who was the father of method acting?
