It Helps To Know Someone There

Post 1

Ellis Parker

After spending a good deal of time in Wagga back in 1995/96 I can see exactly where you are comming from.
There seemed to be this strange feeling that the locals believed their humble town was somehow highly sophisticated and quite cosmopolitan (which I suppose it is to, say Tennants Creek up north).

Luckilly for me, I have a good number of relatives who live there. Staying with them allowed me to discover the 'inner charm' of the place, like where to buy the best 'slab' of beer, when the pubs open and alledgedly close and what to see at the local multiplex cinema... The Plaza TWIN !!!

I had the best New Year ever in someones back yard (the yard was owned by an alcoholic beverage sales representative - or booze seller)..... Yep, as I said, it helps to know someone !!!
