Now if only we could start a good Yankee-Canuck argument over who the falls really belong to. I'd stand back and watch the bickering and flailing until the blood letting got too out of hand - and then I'd jump in and point out that they really belong to God. That would turn the conversation into another one of those eternal religious argument threads but even that would never last as long as the Falls. As they say, Niagara Falls and falls and falls.

But they turn off the tap at night and Niagara becomes a trickle. I first saw Niagara in 1970 and was impressed; I took my children there in the 90s and oh no, it was wall to wall humanity.

Oh it was probably wall to wall back in the 70s too; you were probably just too stoned to notice. Or at least you weren't being kept busy as a responsible parental unit.
