I wasn't keen on Nutella as a child, because it was too sickly sweet for me on its own, and when it was spread on bread, the salt in the bread made it too bitter so it was not to my taste that way, either.
I rediscovered Nutella in a small portion-sized plastic unit in a hotel breakfast buffet and tried it in yoghurt, and that was the perfect flavour combination for me - the tang of the yoghurt complements the choco-nutty sweetness
