Wow, you must have made a thorough research for this one - I'm impressed with the detailed facts!smiley - bigeyes

Ah, one less mystery to brood over then...smiley - silly

That's one thing very consistent about the entries by Farlander, they're always well researched.

This was a very good one indeed. I remember seeing psuedoscientific sensational programmes on TV when I was a kid that had this on it. Oh, they scared me for a bit, but something always seemed a bit false. Of course now I'm skeptical about anything that labels itself "paranormal" now. I love when such tripe is logically and thoroughly debunked.

Thanks again, Farlander. smiley - cheers

PS

Oh, by the way... is it a coincidence that you've had a couple of entries that could be considered wonderfully morbid since you saw that Human Bodies exhibit?

Excellent entry!

One of the first entries I've read! Found it thoroughly researched and documented, and well written. I've always been interested in the "pseudo-sciences" and it's nice to see a levelheaded examination. Great entry, off to read more.

Thanks for reading, all of you, and thanks for your input! smiley - biggrin Huh, morbid indeed, Count Zero..... I never realised that!!! smiley - rofl It has to be sheer coincidence; I certainly didn't plan on a whole string of weird, morbid articles.

(Like you, I was scared to bits as a kid when I first read about SHC - thought I might go up in flames at any moment. But then I became a skeptic.. smiley - winkeye)
