oh, and why is this funny? I've seen several episodes. it's not particularly amusing at all. the best thing about the show is the title sequence. everything else is an anti-clamax after that.

ditto and even more so for American Dad.

peter griffin - the worst that any man could be, pretty much. if him and homer simpson were in a contest for village idiot peter would win because he'd forget to turn up for the contest.
lois griffin - fine until she's drunk
brian - where's the joke? why is an intelligent dog funny?
stewie - enough to put anyone off having children forever. and why is he kelsey grammer (aka frasier) ? and why hasn't kelsey grammer sued the show?
the other children - the son is an idiot and the daughter seems to do nothing.
quagmire - possibly the most sexist character ever created. and the most annoying, that waggga da wagga thing he does. idiot.

just my opinion though. it must have appealed to some people, becuase they moaned when it got cancelled.

Incidentally, I forgot to add that Qhahog isn't meant to be an English word, it's Native American. Different pronunciation you see. Hope that sets you straight.

Different people have different tastes. For instance, I hate Seinfeld, but many people claim that it's the greatest comedy ever written. That doesn't mean that I think it's bad, just that it's not to my taste. I do, however, believe that Family Guy is the finest animated comedy ever made. That's just my humble opinion, of course.
