A Conversation for Germany
Wuppertal and Weisswurst

I live in Wuppertal, so I am surprised that it was mentioned! The Schwebebahn is very handy for getting almost anywhere, most places are within walking distance of it. It was patented before 1900, there's a special car that the Emperor rode in and is still used for weddings and the like.
We also have other semi-famous attractors. Friedrich Engels was born here (the guy who hung out with Marx), and his house is now a museum. It was also Germany's most densely populated town (more so than the infamous Berlin workers' houses) and has very nice turn-of-the-century (1900, not 2000!) buildings left in some streets. Also, several founding members of the SPD and first worker's unions come from here, Aspirin was invented here, and, of course, there's Fulroth, who identified the Neanderthal as a pre-human skeleton before Darwin's "Origin of the Species" was published! And then, there's me, of course
And since I was born in Bavaria, I'll mention the Weisswurst as well. DO NOT order it, buy it, or otherwise prepare to consume it after noon, as everyone will mock you. It's eaten only before noon!
