It's sort of freaky when that happens unnanounced, isn't it.
I recently spent a half hour or so retyping my pub crawl of Dublin only for the original to reappear where it was, without so much as a "by you leave" .

It is disconcerting when things disappear. As a rule, I suggest you notify Anna, or whoever is responsible for the subediting, if your work vanishes again. The tools the editors use seem to do quirky things occassionally; but the entries are almost always in the system somewhere... in their pre- and post-edited forms.
