Great entry 
PTFE is used alot in jewellery for body piercings. The non-stick property means that healing time is cut through reduced friction on the pierce, and its flexibility puts less tension on the edges of the skin.
Advantage three - you don't break your teeth if you bite down on it by accident

A few, yes - 12 and counting. My OH wants to add a new one for each year of Uni I finish, partly for me to mark my achievement, partly for him as a "reward" for all the support he's given me.
