A Conversation for Surviving on Little Sleep
Shift Changes, or Jet Lag
Researcher 182332 Started conversation Aug 6, 2001
This method of tricking your internal clock is how I have been dealing with Jet Lag, or Shift Changes forever.
It is somewhat more involved however.
1) I stay up untill I am only going to get about 4 hours of sleep before I have to wake up.
2) I then drink 8 oz. (240 ml. for the rest of the world) of cafinatted beverage.
3) I set my alarm clock and make sure it is set for the correct time and appropriate volume and radio station.
4) I go to sleep
5) Once the alarm goes off I wake up and drink another 8 oz. of cafinated beverage, shower and prepare for the day.
6) I go to bed that night an hour or two earlier then I normally would to make up for the lack of sleep the prior night.
