Nice one! I shall spread the word about this excellent entry to my many 
mates on here & elsewhere.
I've got a Fender bass & Fender mandolin, lovely beasts, just a shame i can't really play them properly!

i try hard to learn but appreciation comes more easily while i listen to others playing the guitar piano violin or the drum

Wonderful article to share with friends! I've a 40th anniversary Stratocaster I wouldn't part with...well, maybe for an original Esquire. Trouble is, while it's a marvelous instrument, I have to face facts...I'll just never catch up to Clapton and Hendrix. But it's fun trying, and if it wasn't fun...why do it in the first place? I'll be playing this axe until arthritis sets in and stops me from bending strings!

You can use the vibrato arm to help you bend strings, like Hank Marvin!
