h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Two formers were leaning on a gate, leading to field of cows, discussing the state of the comman agricultral policy and admiring the simple beauty of cattle.
Without warning the ground began to rumble and shake. The farmers held tightly onto the gate. As the shaking intensified Birds flew from the trees, branches crashed to the ground. It got worse still, cows were sent sprawling in all directions, unable to maintain firm footing. As they watched, the farmers noticed two of the heard still standing, having no trouble staying upright despite the violance of the quake.
When the shaking stopped, the farmers rushed into the field in sreach of an answer. They called out "How did you stay standing when all around you, without exception, were thrown to the ground?"
The Answer came back, "We bulls wobble but we don't fall down!"

I must be too young/innocent to know this sort of Weeble joke.

I may have got the joke in first but I bet you would have typed "farmers" instead of "formers" and "search" instead of "sreach" to name but two. I really should have paid more attention at shcool instead of playing with my weebles/action men/stretch armstrong & stretch monster.......
