Verdict on the fifth album?
Brad is said to have described it as "Like the first one but more polished".
It's very country/western... I guess... and funny lyrics too. I'm disappointed that more nof the band weren't involved though. Just him and Ellen I think.

And now Ellen and Mitch have done solo albums and Brad did a live tour album with one of their tour musicians.
...I feel very alone in this forum...

I didn't like IDCTYDM as much as Ghosts. And I don't think it was more polished. It just didn't feel right, just no dummy-like enough maybe. Obviously that could be something to do with the album being written by Brad, and recorded by Brad and some fishermen he met in the US.
But thats not to say that I didn't like it. I did, just not as much as any of the others.
Here's to looking forward to their forth-coming Christmas album!

The Christmas album is called "Jingle All The Way" (very original i know). It's out October 8th.
Check out this link (it's not posted on the website yet, but I have my sources, notably, the official CTD mailing list. Okay, maybe I don't have my sources)
