There are several things to be wary of when it comes to altoids. I'll post one now, and if no one else can come up with others, I'll keep going. Anyways. If you consume an altoid, ALWAYS let it dissolve in your mouth before swallowing. I had a friend who swallowed one whole, and it got stuck in her throat and burned a small hole in it. I'm not quite sure if this is true, but she did have some sort of throat problem that caused her to miss quite a bit of school.
