A Conversation for Trading Card Games
Buying Boxes

If you are a die-hard fan of a particular trading card game, you can save money by buying a whole box of cards. Each box holds from 20 to 60 packs, depending on the game and the type of pack in the box.
There is a high up-front cost to this strategy, but you can often get a box for one third to one half off what you would pay if you bought the packs individually. If you get rare cards you don't want or multiple copies of cards you only need one of, you can usually sell the excess cards to your local dealer or trade them with other players.
Full boxes can be purchased from most local card dealers upon request. You can also purchase them on the internet from large distributors, sometimes for even less than your local shop would agree to.
