Mozilla's Firebird to be updated, Firefox 0.8
The name change due to another application having the Firebird name.
Some updates:- Download manager, extention and bookmark handling added, and a new Windows installer. Comes with built-in ad-banner remover and a spellchecker.

Marvellous application, but Linux people be aware: Download a version that was compiled against the gtk library. Googling for "firefox" and "gtk" should help. The standard version from the Mozilla website may crash very badly when exotic glyphs are on the page, and has no font aliasing.

I haven't used Mozilla for a long time now. I use Firefox on both Windows and Linux. It is great. Slim, fast, stable, and easy to use.

That's because you seem to prefer to do things the difficult way 'visitor'
Firefox will remember all your usernames, and everywhere you've been. For instance if I want to sign in Elan Library, I only have to enter my reg number once, the next time, a couple of clicks and there it is, except for when you *helpfully* delete it all on *my* Windows
Then there's the tabs, I can easily use multi tabs, and skip for site to site, no probs. Firefox rocks, I wouldn't use any other
