Great entry!
His home in Edinburgh was in Swanston village (just south of Edinburgh, at the foot of the Pentland hills). You can see where on streetmap.co.uk here

There is also a housing estate built nearby (near Penicuik) in the late 70's where all the streets are named in his honour:

(Stevenson Road, Balfour, Breck, Hawkins, and Samoa Terrace, etc).

Thank you Riccardo
I hadn't realised he wasn't an Ed city resident. I like knowing he was from Swanston I know it
I'm glad you enjoyed the entry

Hi Frenchbean,
So you've been to Swanston Village? It's really nice isn't it - all those little thatched cottages, with nice gardens and flowers - right up your street! I used to live near by, but now I live near the centre of Edinburgh.
