h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

One of our favourites is when we drive home, I often will allow the girls to select which way to turn at certain crossroads (if we've time).

They love the idea of directing the car and they also learn to look for landmarks to help them find their way home as I never tell them if we're close or far away.

Of course, it's also nice for me because I hate to drive the same route every day. But it might mean that the 10-minute drive to dance class can take upwards of half an hour sometimes.

But when the game goes too long, it can always be called off for a direct route home.
