Oh God, it's not true. Not only has the ship lost its above average reputation, it has become one of the worst pubs around. The beer is awful, the music is worse (Dean Martin and the Vengaboys all day long) and the craic is very poor. Go to the Swan or Fiddlers Three instead. Not the best pubs in the world, but the best local alternatives.
