Although I am not renowned for liking spicy food, or food in general come to think of it, this all sounds very tempting! I see that plantains are fairly cheap at Tesco's at the moment, so I will start with those recipes and work my way up!

My wife and I are planning to have a Cuban weekend sometime in the near future. Her family is originally from Peurto Rico and she tells me many of the dishes are similar. 
I can't wait!!
