According to those fine folk in Cape Tribulation (Queensland) the best way to avoid being attacked by a Croc is to always swim with someone smaller than yourself - such as a couple of kids.
Apparently Crocs will always go for the easier target and there is a documented case of a Croc swimming between two burly Australian blokes only to snap up the diminutive Sheila swimming with them.
