Irving Washington - Gone Writing

FACT: Sherlock Holmes never wore a deerstalker in Sir Aurthur Connan Doyle's stories and novels. This fashion sense was imposed upon him by the films -- which always made Watson look like an idiot.

another FACT: Sherlock didn't say "Elementary my dear Watson" in the books and stories, either. He said "Elementary" quite a lot, and "My dear Watson" often, but never together. Again, credit the films with this catch phrase.

Doctor Who is a great series, you're missing out on a treat.

And Kirk _did_ say "Beam me up, Scotty", but it was only in Star Trek : The Animated Series.
