I'm afraid to say that I scanned your Grinnel article without paying attention to details, and then let my knee jerk all over the place. Sorry. There are a lot more things offerend in Grinnel than our area. Perhaps Iowa isn't the same all over. I have heard that Iowa collectively was a great place to raise kids (in fact that claim caught our attention)..but there is one thing that seems to contradict this. Perhaps, once again it's just our neck of the woods. I'm talking about the methanphetamene problem and large number of kids who are addicted. Perhaps they fall into that 16-24 age group. Once again sorry about the previous snipes.

When I was last in Grinnell, there was said to be a big methamphetamine problem among the (terribly bored) teens. Why one would wish to stay awake to experience all that boredom is simply beyond me.
