Another worrying trend comes in the form of the CDs which offer free introductory offers.
AOL is a particular offender here. 999 free hours, it proudly proclaims, but in the small print you will see that you must use the free hours within one month (and 31x24 = 744 hours).

They also don't tell you that their latest software is also likely to totally trash your Dial Up Networking and freeze you out of a whole bunch of web-sites. But then we don't want to get started on the whole AOL are worse than Microsoft argument. Or do We?
