Smarties are actually marketed in the United States too, however they are not chocolate. They are approximately 1/4 inch in diameter and come wrapped in a clear, albeit labeled, celophane package. They are multi colored and some beleive each color represents a different flavor, however, they are all comprimised almost entirely of the same ingredient: sugar, so any flavor variety is likely due to the sugar high one gained from the first consumed package.
