Does anyone know why the first series isn't available as part of the BBC Radio Collection?
I thought it was probably something to do with the different writing team, or maybe because it just isn't very good?!?
I always have series 2/3/4 kicking around in the car to keep me sane in the rush-hour traffic.

The episodes in season one were 35 minutes rather than 30 minutes, so they couldn't fit the entire series on 2 90 minute tapes as they did with the other series.

Is that really the reason? Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, I've only just noticed your reply! Couldn't they edit them a bit? Not that I really agree with editing!

Even better... put them on longer tapes. some aduio books arent standard length, so why not just make up a small batch of non stadard longer tapes?
