Nice entry
Most of the description of coach travel reminds me strongly of how little it apppears to have changed from the time of the story 'Night Bus' written by Samuel Hopkins Adams, and filmed so memorably as 'It happened One Night' in 1934 starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0025316/ or http://www.filmsite.org/itha.html)

But you forgot one of the most important truisms of bus travel. Whether it be intercity or intracity or even a school bus, there will always be at least one weirdo on the bus... if you don't see one, YOU'RE IT!
