A Conversation for MASH: A General Overview
MASH the tv series

I watched the film and the tv series.
The series was unmissable, the characters fantastic.
How can you ever forget the collapsing shower wall, revealing Hotlips in all her glory?
Or Hawkeye going temporarily insane when the mother he told to "shut her baby up" killed the child?
The mix of tragedy and comedy was excellent.
A great entry, thank you.

M*A*S*H (TV series) was repeated over the last months here in Germany, and I saw that famous last episode "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" yesterday.
I just can't wait for the next repeat of the seires. IMHO it's one of the two very best TV series ever.
(The other one is "The Bill Cosby Show", just by the way.)
It's somehow hard to believe that one of my favorite characters is Major Charles Emerson Winchester III, who brought a little shine of class and culture into the swamp. (Just kidding, but not too much )

Hiya Jeremy!
The endless butt of the jokes, hehehe.
I couldn't choose a favourite character.
Radar was so sweet, Clinger was so nuts...Hawkeye was a loveable rogue!
I wouldn't mind watching the whole series through again...

Hi! No better make that: A hearty hi!!!
Like Jeremy I watched the series when it was repeated here in germany a few weeks ago. And I love it!!!
The characters are great, greater, the greatest! Unfortunately at the moment I've forgotten the name of the first Colonel but wasn't he cool. With this hat! And Radar, of course! And Klinger... When he stopped wearing skirts and high-heels, it was a clear sign - let's just say at that moment I knew, *M*A*S*H* would be over one day...
It certainly is one of the best tv shows I've ever seen!

His name was Lt. Col. Henry Blake. Did you know that the famous scene when Radar came into the OP ward to tell all the others that Henry Blake's plane had been shot down was kept secret to all the staff except for Radar (Gary Burghoff)? So the shocked and astonished faces behind the OP masks were as genuine as acting could be ...

Of course... Henry Blake...how could I forget that one?
And no, I didn't know that.
Would you ever have thought that there would ever be something as good as MASH on TM3? I think, previously it was broadcasted on Sat1. Anyway, maybe they will bring it again - no matter which one of them!

I certainly hope so, since I don't have cable-tv.
Funny, though, to have 3 germans rave about a very american tv-series?
(hiya guys, we've never met... sorry to barge in like that... .) The very best though were the announcements...
