Lunchbreaks is a dirty word

I'm a girl that works a 8.5 hour day yet i'm payed for 7.5 hours. The spare hour is for a lunch break. It's in my contract, it's my right as a working woman but but but I never get a full hour and most days I get NO BREAK, not even 10 minutes.
I work in an office for a very successful and large company (Murdoch) and obviously the profits come because NO ONE has a lunch break plus if there are serious technical issues.... You are Expected to stay late with NO time back PLUS i'm on call 24 hours some days!!!
I asked my Boss about Lunch Breaks and Lack Of and she laughed... "Lunch Breaks - you can take them if you wanna" but I wanna and i'm told, sorry Wanda could you hang around, keep an eye. I'll go and get you a sandwich" Blooming eck! I'm a work horse!

There is no *Can I take my Lunch?*, it is your right under european law. If you choose not to exercise your right, you have no justification in moaning or shouting the odds!
Just because the company for which you are working has decided to take the p:$$ out of you & your colleagues, no reason why you should accept it...
